Regulated Migration. Protected Workers. Shared Prosperity.
We bridge governments, protect workers, and promote fair, legal and dignified labour migration for a better future.
Pertubuhan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri Warga Asing Malaysia is a non-governmental organization based in Malaysia that facilitates and safeguards cross-border labour cooperation between the Government of Malaysia and the governments of labour-sending nations through transparent practices, legal compliance and coordinated worker protection frameworks.
To be Malaysia's trusted bridge for regulated, ethical, and government-endorsed labour migration — ensuring dignity, legal protection, and mutual prosperity for foreign workers and the nations that send them.
To facilitate and safeguard cross-border labour cooperation between the Government of Malaysia and the governments of Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and other labour-sending nations, through transparent recruitment practices, legal compliance, and coordinated worker protection frameworks.
Serve as a coordination point between Malaysian authorities, foreign missions, and labour-sending governments to support bilateral MOUs, quota compliance, and standardized recruitment protocols.
Assist employers and agencies in aligning with Malaysia's Employment Act, Immigration regulations, and source-country labour agreements.
Provide legal consultation and case resolution for wage disputes, contract violations, passport retention, and workplace safety across all permitted sectors.
Work with recruitment agencies and employers to eliminate exploitative fees, debt bondage, and deceptive hiring practices, in line with ILO standards.
Maintain coordination channels with embassies and labour attachés in Dhaka, Jakarta, and Colombo for case referrals and worker welfare tracking.
Conduct orientation and rights-awareness programmes for incoming workers, in coordination with source-country pre-departure training bodies.
Provide data-driven recommendations to Malaysian and source-country ministries to strengthen labour governance and bilateral agreements.
We support the Government-to-Government (G2G) labour cooperation framework between Malaysia and Bangladesh, facilitating transparent recruitment and worker placement in line with the bilateral MOU on labour migration. Our focus includes reducing recruitment costs for Bangladeshi workers, coordinating with BMET, and supporting worker welfare.
We work closely with Indonesian authorities, including BP2MI, to support ethical placement and protection of Indonesian workers, particularly in domestic work, plantation, manufacturing, and services. Our role includes pre-departure coordination, dispute resolution support, and monitoring compliance with the Malaysia–Indonesia labour agreements.
In coordination with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE), we support the placement and protection of Sri Lankan workers in Malaysia, with emphasis on fair recruitment practices, contract transparency, and welfare monitoring across the sectors permitted under bilateral arrangements.
We remain open to extending our coordination framework to other labour-sending nations with active or emerging labour agreements with Malaysia, subject to government endorsement and regulatory alignment.
